They are about to overcome a huge obstacle in terms of global reach and scale, and require a Senior Platform Engineer who specialises in AWS to join their already mature team. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining their cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS.
This role will play a major part in realising their vision of modernising their new platform, streamlining CI/CD processes, and focusing on building security principles into their awesome cloud-native stack. Job Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure of the company. They have long surpassed the ADR stage and built a fully functioning Next Gen platform. You will be actively participating in the development and scale of a modern fully AWS cloud-native environment, while ensuring the security of systems throughout the SDLC pipelines. You will collaborate with a team of talented platform engineers who leverage the latest technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure.
- Assist in ensuring the security of systems throughout the SDLC pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt and GitOps with ArgoCD.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Python, Golang or NodeJS.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with AWS, EKS, and Terraform.
- Experience in building cloud-native environments on AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps with ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of security principles, including designing secure systems and implementing security controls.
- Proficiency in coding with either Python or Golang.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the fintech or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
